Treibsand in Haltern am See

Nice restaurant with friendly staff! We tried the breakfast buffet on the weekend, very good homemade jams !! We would love to come back!

We were there on a Sunday. The buffet wasn't that good. Hard noodles. Bacon was missing, the most common jams were not available. So strawberry etc. The buffet was not worth the money. But the service was friendly.

We were disappointed. Been there so often today, but nothing like usual. The white chocolate tasted like milk foam. Tables not cleared, full ashtrays, drinks bottles and cans that had been brought along, porcelain plates stood on the umbrella stands and straws and napkins lay in the sand.

The beautiful atmosphere of this place is unfortunately completely destroyed by the excessively loud music. One has the impression that the guests are to be evicted. It's a shame ☹

Unfriendly service. Only the attractive location is convincing. I would definitely prefer one of the other places in Haltern!

Very friendly service. Unfortunately only tarte flambée on the menu, the taste takes getting used to. Both ordered were inedible for us. Were there during the week and the only guests. Hardly any lighting in the restaurant, no music, a bit of a ghostly atmosphere. For now I will refrain from further visits.

Very very bad service. Because on Friday the 17th of July we canceled our long reserved table at short notice by email without giving any reason, I wanted to clarify this very unfriendly and incomprehensible behavior by phone before I leave a review. Unfortunately, the service is more than bad. To date, only one band is running.

Months ago we had reserved a table in quicksand and wanted to stop here with five friends after a bike tour. Our table was canceled the evening before without detailed explanations, so that we also had no chance to find an alternative. I don't think that's how you should treat your guests.

Always great ... and the new area is top notch ... simply CLASS

Nice view from the outside of the Silver Lake II. Gastronomy without a system. Even with little operation, waiting times that are still acceptable. When the hut is full, the staff unfortunately goes under. Food and drinks are of good quality.

I can only recommend this great breakfast 👍😀

The mood was just great. All the people were in a good mood and the weather played along - until almost the end. A big compliment to the people behind the counter. Very friendly and very fast. Super location, it could not be better.😁

Overall I have enjoyed my stay. You can bring food from the nearby food truck eg as long as you buy drinks at Treibsand.

Only the drinks were ok. The lifeguard salad costs 11.50 and consists almost entirely of iceberg lettuce. Not tasty and expensive. It's a shame, the location is nice.
